Schmitt Europe Ltd (SEL) is the European sales, service and repair division of Schmitt Industries Incorporated, an ISO 9001:2000 approved company, that provides a full range of dynamic balancing systems from Schmitt Balance Systems (SBS) and precision laser measurement equipment from Schmitt Measurement Systems (SMS) in the USA.

SEL started in 1996 following the acquisition of Schmitt Hofmann Systems in order to meet the growing demand for precision balancing of grinding machines and accurate laser measurement in today’s engineering industry throughout the UK, Europe and Asia.

The company is based in an ideal centralised location at the University of Warwick Science Park, Coventry, in the UK and carries a full range of stock allowing us to easily service the needs of our world-wide client base. In addition, we have a comprehensive network of agents and distributors throughout Europe and many other countries, offering the full range of SBS and SMS precision engineering products.

SEL employs full-time International Sales Managers, Service Engineers and supporting administrative staff to offer technical support and service engineering throughout the company’s sales territories. SEL publishes relevant press releases on this website and we will be glad to answer any of your application-specific questions.

All our products are CE compliant and ISO 9001:2000 certified. Our normal hours of business are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The company is also a member of the UK Chamber of Commerce.
